Chardonnay

sonoma coast

  • Organically grown Sonoma Coast fruit
  • Handcrafted in Sebastopol, California
  • Aged in neutral French oak, concrete egg, and stainless steel
  • Bottled unfiltered
The 2021 County Line Chardonnay unfurls with a delicate roundness, offering notes of lemon curd, golden delicious apple, acacia honey, and jasmine blossom. A hint of flintiness coupled with lean acidity quenches the palate, and lends a bright, tantalizing finish. Both crisp and supple, this expressive Chardonnay will nicely complement a creamy seafood bisque or hearty corn chowder.
WOOSTER

One of the first ranch sounds in the morning, the white rooster (affectionately named Wooster) heralds the day with his waking crow. An experienced defender, Wooster proudly safeguards our flock by sounding alarm when danger lurks nearby. He is a natural provider, helping to keep our chickens fed and fertile, ensuring happy hens and healthy chicks. The king of our poultry pest control, Wooster also leads the flock in tilling the soil while he struts and scratches about the garden. As the overseer of his egg-laying ladies, Wooster’s prominence on the label is a nod to the concrete eggs we often use for Chardonnay fermentation and élevage.
